Requests and confirmation
Wideroute offers airport transfers, address-to-address journeys and hourly chauffeur hire in Italy. Submitting a request or accepting a quote does not reserve a vehicle: a journey is booked only when our team confirms it. The quote identifies the contracting transport operator and the agreed service.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in EUR before you pay and include the transfer as booked. Card payment is processed securely by Stripe when you book. Your card is saved by Stripe only to charge waiting time beyond the free allowance, as described below. Tolls and parking for the booked route are included unless stated otherwise; no other unagreed supplement is charged.
Hourly hire & vehicle classes
Minimum 3 hours, up to 150 km included per booking. Comfort: €75/hour and €2.40/additional km; Minivan: €95/hour and €3.20/additional km; Premium: €130/hour and €3.40/additional km. Extra time requires agreement and is charged at the quoted hourly rate. Images are illustrative; the confirmed vehicle or an agreed equivalent is specified in the quote.
Airport pickup, flight number & waiting
Enter the flight number from your ticket so your chauffeur can check the arrival time and any delays. Airport pickup: 60 minutes of free waiting from the flight’s actual arrival. After that, €25 for each started 30-minute period. Additional waiting is charged separately from the transfer fare.
Changes, cancellation and refunds
Pending requests can be cancelled in My journeys. Contact us to change or cancel a confirmed journey. Deadlines, no-show charges and refund rules must be disclosed in your quote; no undisclosed cancellation fee applies. If the operator cannot provide the confirmed service, you may choose an agreed alternative or a refund for the unprovided service. The usual EU 14-day cooling-off rule does not generally apply to passenger transport contracts; mandatory rights remain unaffected.
Pickup, safety and luggage
Provide accurate addresses, local Italy pickup time, flight details, passenger and luggage counts. Waiting: at hotels and other addresses the first 15 minutes from the booked pickup time are free, then €20 (Comfort), €25 (Minivan) or €35 (Premium) per started 15 minutes; the chauffeur waits up to 45 minutes unless you contact us. Airport pickups: 60 minutes free from the flight’s arrival, then €25 per started 30 minutes; flights are tracked. Hourly hire includes the booked time. Request child seats and accessibility arrangements in advance. Comfort and Premium accommodate up to 3 passengers and 3 bags; Minivan up to 7 and 7, subject to luggage size and confirmed seating. Seat belts and lawful conduct are required.
Complaints and mandatory rights
Send complaints with the journey reference to the contact email below. No term excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded. The applicable law and competent court are determined by mandatory rules; these terms do not impose an exclusive foreign court on consumers. Keep your quote and confirmation. New versions apply to new requests, not retrospectively to confirmed journeys.
