Travel guide
Rome rewards travellers who arrive rested. Fiumicino airport lies about 30 km west of the centre and Ciampino 15 km to the south-east. Your chauffeur meets you at arrivals, takes care of the luggage and drives you to your hotel door — no taxi queues and no train changes. From Rome we also drive you to Naples, the Amalfi Coast, Tuscany and anywhere else in Italy.

Good to know
Most of the historic centre is a limited traffic zone (ZTL). Your chauffeur knows which hotels can be reached by car and the nearest drop-off point for those that cannot.
The drive from the centre to Fiumicino usually takes 40–60 minutes. Allow extra time on weekday mornings.
An hourly chauffeur is the easiest way to combine the Vatican, the Appian Way and the Castelli Romani in a single day.
